CSS Notes

Page history last edited by Andrew Hill 14 years, 5 months ago

These notes have been taken from the excellent HTML Dog site. There are three sections. The first, for beginners, outlines the basics but won't really help you make a decent page unless you're happy with text flying across the whole screen. Still, you need to start somewhere.

Applying CSS | Selectors | Colours | Text | Margins | Borders | Putting it all together

The second set will help you to tidy up the code a bit and includes how to use images as a background

Class and IDs | Grouping | Pseudo classes | Shorthand | Background images

The third set will give you some clues as to how to display stuff and lay it out so that it might possibly look like a page you could have made in a few minutes with old tables.
