Printing

If you just hit the print button and then OK, much as you would for most items, then, unless you’ve been very frugal and have no coloured backgrounds or big images, you may as well say goodbye to best part of your print cartridge and go and make a cup of coffee to fill the time it‘ll take. Basically, be very careful about printing presentation slides. You’ll almost never need the full size ones printed. What you may need will be handouts as mentioned above. Use File | Print Preview and then use the wonderfully titled Print What: part to see what each of the options look like. If you’ve included notes then the Notes option is the one you want or you can select from a range of options, all of which will use a much more modest amount of ink and time.
